Medical Insurance
Macomb Hand Surgery and Midwest Hand Therapy accept most forms of medical insurance coverage, including St. John Smart Health, Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, HAP, United Healthcare, Cigna HAP Preferred, Medicare Plus Blue, Humana PPO and Tricare, among others.
There are many differences in insurance plans, so we recommend you come to appointments with an understanding of your benefits, co-pays and coverage. Payment for co-pays and non-covered expenses will be required at the time of your visit.
Out of Network Coverage
While we participate in most major health plans, if we are not in your network we can still treat you. Most insurance plans allow you to see doctors who do not participate in their network. These “out of network” benefits may require deductibles (or higher deductibles) and/or co-pays, so please consult with your insurance provider about your out of network benefits.
