Dr. Yaish was born and raised in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and completed his undergraduate work at Vanderbilt University.  He attended medical school at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan.  Dr. Yaish completed his AOA internship and Orthopedic Surgery residency at Mt. Clemens General Hospital.  He is a board eligible General Orthopedist with interests in fracture care, sports medicine, hand surgery, and joint replacements.
